Spike Dudley vs. Shannon 'All That And' Moore
Bill DeMott & Josh Mathews are dressed nicely for a change. Power struggle , Spike pushes Shannon to the buckle with a clean break. Moore gets in a quick armdrag. Spike flips out , arm drag & side headlock , which Moore turns into a back suplex for a 2 count. A bodyslam& an arm stretch submission by Spike , followed by forearms for a 2 count. I think I zoned out here for like 15 seconds. lol. Poetry in motion type kick by Moore for a 2 count , then a neckbreaker for another. A back suplex & a chin lock....Battering ram by Spike followed by a plantcha on the outside , then he moves Shannon back in for an inverted atomic drop & a clothesline for a 2 count then a slam for a 2nd 2 count. Spike goes up top but catches Shannon's boot in the face on the way down , so Shannon gets in a northern lights suplex. I like northern lights something. lol. There's some reversals that enable Spike to pull off the Dudley dog [ acid drop sounded better.] & get the win.
WINNER: SPIKE DUDLEY

They show JBL informing Eddie Guerrero of the type of match they'd bee having at the Great American Bash on SD!. Then they plug the Diva search , showing some photo's of some very appealing woman who may have already entered. N-Gage is promoting Mordecai's SD! talking segment. Next up is what there billing as a SD! exclusive match whatever that mean's. I'm assuming it was filmed during the SD! telecast but got edited into Velocity.

Billy Gunn & Hardcore Holly vs. Nunzio & Johnny 'The Bull' Stamboli
Hardcore & Stamboli get the ball rolling. A side headlock & a shoulder block by The Bull on Holly , who then catches him coming off the ropes into a powerslam. Some vicious chops by Hardcore on Stamboli & an interfering Nunzio. Holly got in his drape across the rope / kick to the groin signature thing. Spinebuster by Stamboli , then he tags in Nunzio. Some punches & a choke by Nunzio for a 2 count b4 the Bull comes in again , gorilla pressing Holly for a 2 count [Billy makes the save.] Armdrag takedown by Holly , but the Bull manages to get the tag to Nunzio , but gets a dropkick by Hardcore before he finally makes the tag to Billy. Billy is a house of fire hitting Nunzio with a backdrop then a Fameasser on The Bull , leading into an impressive GHB for the win. am I the only one who thinks Billy & Hardcore should get matching ring attire? It would solidify them in the tag ranks I think. either way it's good to see 2 long time veterans get over with fans , which Gunn & Holly as a unit seem to be.
WINNERS: BILLY GUNN & HARDCORE HOLLY

Billy Kidman vs. Mark Jindrak w/ Teddy Long
Teddy Long says Jindrak looks so good it's enough to make you wanna slap your momma. lol. " Teddy's more in love with Jindrak than you are with me Bill" Josh says. lol. MJ over powers Kidman & refers to him as a loser. lol. Apparently MJ hasn't been informed of who Kidman leaves with every single night. MJ then offers him a free shot but lives to regret the decision , as Billy then gives him 6 punches to the head in the corner , but gets knocked outside by MJ , them stomped by him , then a vertical suplex for a 2 count on Billy. Then he rubs his face in the mat & gets a 1 count , so he then Dropkicks him in the forehead - what height Jindrak gets on those dropkicks...it's amazing...he really does have the best one I think, we then see some push ups & abs crunches , followed by an HBK your not spring to his feet , only to become the recipient of another one of the best dropkicks in the biz ala Kidman. A flying forearm , clothesline , & a missile dropkick all by Billy. A flying clothesline by the reflection of perfection for the two. Enziguri by Billy , who then climbs the ropes looking for his dazzling shooting star press [ unless someone named Brock attempts it.] , but Teddy Long gets on the apron for the distraction , & Billy's springboard backdrop turned into the Mark of Excellence so Jindrak gets the duke.
WINNER: MARK JINDRAK

DeMott's turning point show's Teddy long distracting the official in the previous encounter. They then proceed to the Taker/Heyman/Dudley/Booker SD! segment. They also show us the key highlights from the Basham / Guerrero non title match on Smackdown. They plug the new Hall Of Fame DVD. I might pick up that one myself. Up next is the Main Event.

WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: Rico & Charlie Haas w/ Ms. Jackie vs. Akio & Sakoda
They mention that Akio is a movie star in Japan. 3 people in North America give a rats ass. Haas & Ryan Sakoda start things off. A side headlock , a shoulder block followed by 2 quick armdrags by Haas. Rico spanks Sakoda. he gets mad. Jackie slaps Sakoda & he likes it , but they just trick him into letting Rico fondle him a bit more. lol. Sakoda slaps Charlie , who then hits him with a dropkick & a flapjack before tagging in Rico. Rico then rides Sakoda & Akio who got tagged in. Haas comes in & gets hit with a spinning leg lariat by Akio. A 'Charlie' chant arises which is nice to hear as it's the first time I've ever heard one , probably his too. lol. A sleeper is then applied. A really cool headscissors in the corner by Akio who tags in Sakoda. he then puts Charlie in the Tree of woe & kicks him a few times for a 2 count , but Haas hits him with a back suplex. Both men make tags. Rico backdrops Akio ,but they then hit a double enziguri to get a 2 count from Akio. Rico manages to tag Charlie back in who gets the one two three with a german suplex pinning combo.
WINNERS & STILL CHAMPIONS: RICO & CHARLIE HAAS

Mark Jindrak w/ Teddy Long vs. Billy Kidman
In a rematch from last week's velocity , Kidman took on Jindrak in a pretty decent outing. Teddy Long riled up the fans by calling them haters & saying they hatorize whatever that means. Billy attacks Mark before he has a chance to remove his robe. He takes down Jindrak with a spinning head scissors out of the corner , then follows it up with a bodypress outside. We then see Jindrak get on the offensive with a backbreaker , then he rubs Billy's face in the mat followed by a suplex for a 1 count. Kidman gets a sunset flip in before he takes a punch that made Butterbeans punches against Bart Gunn look weak. Ouch . Good for a 2 count by Jindrak. MJ headlocks Billy but he gets to his feet , only to get a short arm rev & a picture perfect dropkick courtesy of Jindrak. He does his push up routine. They lock up & Kidman hits him with a jawbreaker , but gets flicked to the corner. Jindrak runs into Billy's boot , which he follows up with a nice reverse elbow from the 2nd rope. A dropkick & an Enziguri for a 2 by Kidman , because Teddy Long put Jindrak's foot on the rope. Billy goes after Long , mistake , as it enables MJ to hit the mark of excellence for his 2nd win over Kidman in a row. DeMott's turning point shows Kidman going after Teddy Long.
WINNER: MARK JINDRAK

The rewind shows Kenzo Suzuki's Smackdown Debut.

Hardcore Holly & Billy Gunn vs. Kevin Phoenix & Jason Pacaro
Phoenix hits a couple of armdrags on Holly & is rather arrogant about it. Holly lets him know what he thinks about that with a clothesline , hiptoss & some stiff chops. He then tags in Billy who does an arm wrench but gets poked in the eyes. Kevin does an arm wrench while he tags in Pacaro. Billy goes berserk & beats them both up & gives Jason a powerslam. Pacaro gets in some offence on Gunn but he comes back with a nice tilt a whirl & then tags in Holly. Phoenix got tagged back in here somewhere I think or at least he lost the match as Holly hit clotheslines on both of them , then a dropkick , Alabama crunch & an Alabama slam for the duke.
WINNERS: BILLY GUNN & HARDCORE HOLLY

They shows us the JBL/Eddie Guerrero SD! segment

Spike Dudley vs. Akio w/ Sakoda
Akio over powers Spike. A go behind & a snapmare by Akio. Next is the old 'test of strength lock up , Akio suckers Spike & kicks him in the stomach , but Spike gets out of it with a headbut to Akio's stomach , rolls out , gets a hurracanrana , a dropkick & some Spike stomps in on him. Akio kicks Spike. Sakoda lifts Spike on the outside & drops him across the ring apron. Snapmare , legdrop , neck wrench & a dropkick by Akio. Then he chokes Spike out with his leg on the ropes. He goes for a back suplex but Spike reverses , a drop clothesline & a headbut to the stomach again via Spike , then a Jumping leg lariat by Akio. Spike held on to the ropes where he was sitted when Akio went for a hurracanrana & did his gut stomp & got in the Dudley Dog for the win.
WINNER: SPIKE DUDLEY

They shows us the Undertaker kneeling before Heyman on SD! JoeSchmoe2 is coming, that should be hilarious, the first one was great. Main event time.

Rico w/ Ms. Jackie vs. Jamie Noble
Some armbars & reversals by both men. A drop toe hold & leg takedown by Rico, who then 'rides' Jamie , making him freak out. Rico bring Noble back in from the apron by making him flip over the ropes , but Jamie puts him headfirst into the turnbuckle & decides to go after Jackie. Rico to the rescue & kisses Noble. I can tell he hated that. lol. A furious Noble hits Rico with a short arm clothesline [I miss Jake Roberts short arm clothesline - does anybody else?] followed by some pretty stiff kicks to his back. He pokes Rico in the eye & puts him in the tree of woe & goes outside & stretches Rico's neck , then gets in a neckbreaker for a 2 count. He does a sleeper on Rico for a bit on the ground but he works his way up only to get flicked back down by Noble. Rico manages to get in a back suplex and a spinning clothesline , then punches & kicks him in the corner. A spinning back kick by Rico then he gets a suplex reversed on him into a Noble neckbreaker. Jamie goes for a Tiger Driver but Rico reverses it & drops down on Noble & pins him reyrey style. 123 over.
WINNER: RICO
