Being in one of the greatest tag teams in history, "Coach" Kevin Nash knows about standing together as a team. When Shawn Stasiak decided that he would rather pass on the teamwork and go at it alone, Big Sexy decided to give his a test by feeding him to the wolves - the massive Goldberg.

The Harris Brothers d. The Perfect Event
Stasiak and Palumbo bickered before the match, but "Coach" Kevin Nash smoothed things over before heading over to the broadcast table. Once the bell rang, The Perfect Event was in control over Big Ron and Heavy D, but The Harris Brothers used their experience edge to stay in the game. As Palumbo went to the corner to tag his partner in, Stasiak refused, and jumped off the apron, allowing the twins to score the win. Nash entered the ring after the bout and had a shoving match with Stasiak. Big Sexy told the announcers that "Perfectshawn" would be given a lesson in tough love.

Pamela Paulshock Interview: "Above Average" Mike Sanders
Sanders said that he would defeat The Cat at Halloween Havoc and become the sole commissioner of WCW.

Mean Gene Interview: Booker T
Booker spoke of the trials of being on the road as a professional wrestler, stating that it was the fans that kept him going night after night. He told Scott Steiner to be ready for him at Halloween Havoc. Big Poppa, with Midajah by his side, came out to the stage and berated T's mother in an attempt to get under the champion's skin. They brawled in the aisle, with Jeff Jarrett making it a two on one, before Sting arrived to make the save. Eventually, the entire WCW dressing room came out to break up the melee, with Mike Awesome getting in Steiner's face as well.

Pamela Paulshock Interview: "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner
Big Poppa was hot under the collar and challenged Mike Awesome to a match later in the night.

Karate Demonstration
"Above Average" Mike Sanders d. The Jung Dragons
The Cruiserweight Champion entered the ring donned in kick boxing gear. He said that he would put on an exhibition for everyone and called The Jung Dragons out. Sanders squirted a foreign substance on his gloves before the bell, and knocked Jaime-San and Yang out after blinding them. Kaz jumped the champion before the third round, but he too went down in defeat. Leia Meow kicked Mike low, but hurt her foot as Sanders revealed a protective cup inside his pants. Ms. Jones came down the aisle to distract as The Cat ran out of the crowd and dropped Sanders with a roundhouse front kick.

Kronik d. 3 Count
Brian Adams said that Kronik's problem with Goldberg was only business, until Bill himself made it personal. Clark called 3 Count to the ring, who promised to sing their hit songs over and over until the end of the show. Kronik vetoed the idea and attacked the singing trio, easily squashing them to victory.

Pamela Paulshock Interview: "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash
Nash told Shawn Stasiak that he would be tested to see if his head was in the game. Big Sexy stated that Scott Hall had been fired by WCW, but declared that The Outsiders would continue to run.

Interview: Misfits In Action
The MIA came out dressed like Team Canada, with A-WALL dressed as Duggan, Loco dressed up as Prime Time, and General Rection as the Canadian Champion Lance Storm. Cajun said that there weren't enough members of Team Canada, so he had to play a big, dumb moose. Rection finally got serious, warning the men from the great white north to lock, load, and be ready for war come Halloween Havoc.

Pamela Paulshock Interview: "That 70's Guy" Mike Awesome
Awesome was not surprised that Scott Steiner got mad in the pull apart earlier in the show. Mike said he wasn't worried and accepted the challenge.

Goldberg d. "Perfectshawn" Stasiak
Kevin Nash and The Natural Born Thrillers all came out to the ring. Nash talked about The Outsiders being one of the greatest teams of all time, reminding Stasiak that a great team needed to stand together. Nash told Shawn that on this night however, he would stand alone without The Thrillers. With that, Goldberg's music blared over the sound system. The former Atlanta Falcon came in and annihilated Stasiak with a huge spear and Jackhammer as Nash and the boys watched on. Goldberg told Kronic that they were next.

Three Way Dance
Billy Kidman with Rey Mysterio, Jr. and Tygress d. Sean O' Haire with Mark Jindrak and Alex Wright with DISQO
DISQO told the world that he and Alex Wright were starting an investigation to find out who let the dogs out, and where they were at. As the bell rang, Kidman and Wright doubled on O' Haire, but soon it was all three going at it in a free for all. On the outside, the other members of the tag teams got involved as well, giving everyone a preview of the Halloween Havoc three-way dance. Back inside, Kidman finished Wright off with the Kid Crusher for the victory.

Pamela Paulshock Interview: Crowbar
Crowbar said that Mike Awesome had changed his life for the better, getting the chicks every night. Jimmy Hart came in and told Crowbar that he was bumped in the schedule and was needed in the ring.

Vampiro d. Crowbar
Vamp came out looking scarier than ever. He attacked Crowbar on the floor, sending him hard into the guardrail. Crowbar came back and delivered a big splash off the apron to the floor onto Vampiro. The ladies man dropped Vamp chest first across the ring steps, sending his dark opponent writhing in pain. Both made their way to the top rope, with Vamp delivering a huge belly to belly suplex that sent Crowbar all the way across the ring. At this point, a steel chair became the focal point of the match, as the two battered each other with it. They fought over to a side stage in front of the DJ's booth, slamming each other into the Nitro Girl's cages. Two hooded men brought out a pair of tables, one on top of the other. Vampiro chokeslammed Crowbar off the stage through both tables. Referee Charles Robinson called for the bell and medics arrived to help the fallen competitor. Vamp got the mic and said it was all Mike Awesome's fault, challenging him to a match at Halloween Havoc.

"The Franchise" Shane Douglas with Torrie Wilson d. Konnan with Tygress
The Franchise came out in a sling, telling Konnan that he was injured last week and could not compete. Konnan backed Shane into the corner and told him he would see him at Havoc. Douglas attempted to attack from behind, but Konnan countered, getting the match underway. K-Dogg worked on the injured arm, before Torrie threw her man a chain. Shane used the weapon on Konnan, brought him down with The Franchiser, and got the tainted win. Tygress and Torrie went at it outside the ring after the bell.

"Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner with Midajah d. "That 70's Guy" Mike Awesome
Scott Steiner and Midajah came out to the ring with a tiger, scaring several of the fans at ringside. After Awesome came out for the match, Booker T joined the commentators at the ringside table. Awesome tore into Steiner, crashing down on Big Poppa with a big frog splash. Midajah stepped in and kicked That 70's Guy over the top to the floor. Scott continued to taunt Booker at ringside, which allowed Awesome to take back the advantage in the contest. Mike went for the Awesome Bomb, but Midajah interfered, giving Steiner a pipe to use. Big Poppa crashed Awesome down with a Samoan drop from the top, followed by the Steiner Recliner for the submission win.
