We start with a recap of last week when Kurt Angle took out LAX, then Samoa Joe challenged Angle for a re-match. We end with the cliffhanger of Tyson Tomko showing up in the main event.

- We went to a backstage interview with LAX and a new lady. Konnan talked about the First Amendment rights. He addressed Petey Williams and Kurt Angle. He called Angle over-rated and they would find out what thug life is all about.

- Mike Tenay talked about Angle teaming with Petey against LAX. He said VKM visits WWE HQ tonight.

- Christian Cage and don't-call-me-Tyson Tomko walked out to start the show. Christian made the formal introduction of Tomko. He called Tomko a killer. Christian said TNA is trying to put the screws to him by booking him in a triple threat title match at Turning Point. He said he's undefeated and the biggest star in TNA. Christian said he plans on taking out both Sting and Abyss tonight. He said Tomko knows Abyss very well. He called out Abyss to have a little chat so he and Tomko could get reacquainted. Abyss and James Mitchell walked out. Christian told Abyss to speak for himself and not hide behind Mitchell. Before Abyss decided to walk to the ring or not, Sting's music hit. A dummy dressed as Sting came down from the rafters. Christian smiled, then the real Sting came into the ring from behind and jumped Christian with his baseball bat. Sting took the mic and said he wants to talk to Abyss man-to-man and face-to-face without Mitchell present.

- Time for VKM part 1 from Stamford. B.G. had a cease and desist paper in hand that he wanted "Vince" to sign or he would face war. B.G. said their two words are "stop, please." Stop what? B.G. and Kip shared a few giggles.

[Commercial Break]

- They showed footage from during the break when LAX attacked James Storm and cut his mouth. They left him underneath a ladder as the new announcer called for help.

- Christopher Daniels was on commentary for the X Division three-way match. Chris Harris ran into the shot and screamed that he was going to find LAX.

[Q2]

1 -- CHRI SABIN vs. SONJAY DUTT vs. JAY LETHAL -- #1 Contender match

A whole lot of spots early on. Yipee. Sabin then rolled up Lethal for the win. What in the world. Sabin then confronted Daniels and said he wanted a piece of him. Jerry Lynn stepped into the picture and separated the two men. Chris Sabin backed up the entrance ramp mocking Daniels.

WINNER: Sabin in 2:00. Two minutes of a bunch of spots, then a finish out of nowhere. Not the type of X Division showcase TNA needs to be putting forward.

- They went back to the backstage area where LAX had Chris Harris tied up on a stairwell. Gail Kim scared them off.

[Commercial Break]

- VKM part 2 was at 10:44 a.m. with B.G. and Kip setting up a sound system to blast WWE out of their offices. B.G. quietly talked through a cone that was supposed to serve as a megaphone. B.G. told Vince to come out with his pants up.

- Ms. Brooks was in the building looking for Eric Young. West said they should follow this story. Naturally, they went to a video package.

- They went to the TNA Spotlight with Jeremy Borash. He talked about merchandise and the Turning Point PPV.

- Suddenly, Tenay and West were talking about A.J. Styles. What happened to following the Brooks story?

- Tenay and Styles had a sit-down interview with Styles and his leather jacket. Tenay asked him about his on-again, off-again relationship with Daniels. Styles said they're like brothers and disagree on some things. Tenay asked abut the red flags with Rhino. They zoomed in tight on Tenay's concerned face. Are we doing a wrestling show or a c-level amateur drama? Styles screamed at Tenay because he doesn't know anything about him because he sits at the announce table while he busts his butt in the ring. Styles talked about his trailer park beginnings. They cut to Tenay saying he's sorry he embarrassed him. Styles snapped on him. Tenay said everyone has one thing in mind to help Styles. "Where were you when I really needed help?!" Styles screamed. He said no one cared about him when he didn't have anything growing up. The music here is so ridiculous. Rhino walked into the shot and said he overheard Styles talking about his upbringing. He joined in on the pity party so everyone feels worse having watched this. Rhino said the difference between them is that he trusts people. Well, that really worked with Christian. Styles stormed off, leaving Rhino standing.

[Commercial Break]

- Time for a drug test in the Paparazzi Productions pre-tape video. Lethal held up a cup of urine, then Alex Shelley walked out from behind the curtain holding a cup while his pants were wide open. Nash walked out with a doctor's outfit on and a stethoscope hanging from his head. He said he had to give Shelley a prostate exam. He then announced that everyone was clean. "No anabolic steroids, much to my chagrin," he said. Nash said next week would be psychological tests. He told everyone to leave except Shelley and Starr, who he told to get the job done in the ring. The PCS starts December 10.

[Q3]

2 -- ALEX SHELLEY & AUSTIN STARR vs. RON KILLINGS & LANCE HOYT

We cut right to both teams doing spots. Eric Young was shown in the crowd. The fans told him that Brooks was looking for him. Back to the ring, Starr went for a top rope move,b ut Shelley walked into the ring and told him he had it. Killings crotched Starr, then Shelley rolled up Hoyt and hooked the tights for the win. Shelley posed for the hard camera after the match. Starr then grabbed the handheld camera and showed the referee that Shelley hooked the tights on the finish. The referee reversed the decision and gave Killings and Hoyt the win. Shelley screamed at Starr after the match, and Starr just laughed at him.

WINNERS: Killings & Hoyt in 2:00 via reverse decision. Four minutes of sub par wrestling 30 minutes into the show.

- Brooks suddenly found Young backstage. The new announcer found them talking. She told Young to accept her challenge or he would be fired. How does she have that power? The announcer asked Young what kind of match she challenged him to. He said a bikini contest. Young said it was time to start dieting.

- A video package on Raven's new flock aired. They claimed to be smarter than everyone else.

[Commercial Break]

- B.G. and Kip were still standing outside at 3:44 p.m. B.G. was on the phone with someone complaining about being outside all day. He vowed to stay outside all night. At 1:23 a.m., they were still outside. Suddenly, Kip woke up and said he had a nightmare that "dumb to the extreme" were doing something with a fat, oily man. B.G. said, "Those imbeciles actually shot that segment on their television show," he said. Kip became frightened. B.G. said they are America's last line of defense against that and decent television. He told him to get his head straight.

- Sting came to the ring to talk to Abyss. Abyss then walked out by himself. Sting smacked a chair in center ring and told him to sit down. Abyss remained standing. Sting said that for the last four years he's been in and out of TNA and he's watched Abyss scrap and claw through the ranks of TNA while falling into barbed wire and thumbtacks. He said he doesn't know anything about Abyss's past because what matters is that Abyss is a bonafide champion and great athlete. Golf clap. Sting said Abyss let Jim Mitchell lead him around like a little puppy dog at Genesis. He wanted to know why he lets Mitchell boss him around. "Is Sting preaching to Abyss?" Tenay chimed in. Abyss then sat down and stared at the title belt. I've seen this same exchange at high school plays before. Sting couldn't get his attention so he called him Chris. Abyss looked up as the audience oohed and ahed. Mitchell then showed up on the videotron and cackled. He told Sting to look into Abyss's eyes. He said Sting became evil at Genesis and now he's a hypocrite for trying to save souls. Abyss sat up and Sting told him to stop worrying about Mitchell and start making his own decisions.

[Q4]

Sting left, then Christian and Tomko hit the ring and jumped Abyss. Sting returned to the ring with his bat and chased them from the ring. Sting extended a hand. The fans ringside shook their heads telling Abyss not to shake his hand. Mitchell then walked into the ring and stood in between Sting and Abyss. Mitchell slapped Sting across the face, then helped Abyss to the outside. Sting smiled as they left.

- The new lady tried to interview Petey, but LAX jumped him. Konnan took the mic and screamed into the camera to address Kurt Angle.

[Commercial Break]

- LAX were in the ring out of the break. No ring intro? That's the best part of the show. Angle then walked out with no Petey. Tenay said it would be a handicap match.

3 -- LAX (HOMICIDE & HERNANDEZ w/Konnan) vs. KURT ANGLE -- NWA Tag Title match

Hernandez and Angle started things off. Angle took Hernandez to the mat, then Hernandez drove him to the corner. Angle came back with a belly-to-belly suplex. Homicide tagged in and took a backbreaker. Homicide then used a distraction by Hernandez to chopblock Angle and go to work on the knee. Samoa Joe then walked out and stood on the apron. Tenay asked us to remember Angle and Joe's agreement from last week when they agreed to watch each other's back until the PPV. Joe took a hot tag despite not being the scheduled wrestler in the match. Joe ran over LAX, then snapped off a suplex on Homicide. Joe then put Homicide in the rear naked choke. Angle locked in the Anklelock on Hernandez. The referee called for the bell as they tapped out. Jim Cornette ran out and called for the bell. The LAX attorney and Konnan then screamed at Cornette. Dave Penzer announced that he couldn't award Joe and Angle the belts because Joe wasn't the scheduled wrestler in the match. Yes! Logic on this show. Tenay and West were initially indignant before realizing the right decision was made. Angle turned to Joe and shook his hand. The fans cheered.

WINNER: Angle in 5:00; LAX keeps NWA Tag Titles. Too short for a main event match featuring the type of talent in the ring. The match, as a microcosm of the show, felt rushed and the post-match ending needed more time to develop and resonate with viewers.

- They aired a music video recap of he show.
