-The show starts with Team 3D in
the middle of the ring right away. Brother Ray says the votes are in on who they
will be wrestling at Against All Odds. He says based on the votes its obvious
the people hate AMW. But he says the people hate Team Canada just a little bit
more. So at against all odds it will be Team 3D vs. Team Canada. He tells Team
Canada to listen up because this is what they will be hearing for a long time,
and he leads the crowd in a USA chant. DVon says Team Canada is about to get the
ass kicking of their lives, testify.
-A Sting video package airs focusing on his interview last week. It asks "Is the
end of the road for a mighty legend?"
-The Impact opening airs.
-Tenay announces there will be highlights shown from the Against All Odds press
conference tonight.
Rhino vs. Kenny King
This one outta be quick. Rhino starts off with a kick and some forearms. Rhino
with a big shoulder block. King goes for a hip toss but gets clotheslined. Rhino
throws King into the corner and chokes him across the middle rope. Rhino with
some kicks and punches to King in the corner. Rhino with rapid fire right hands.
Rhino runs at King in the corner and runs into a boot. King charges at him but
gets taken down with a clothesline. King dodges a back body drop and nails a
kick to the head. He then runs right into a spinebuster from Rhino. Rhino with
the Gore and the cover for the pinfall. Typical squash match. Nothing else to
really say.
Winner: Rhino
-Terry Taylor is backstage with Larry Zybszko. Larry says Sting dropped a bomb
on him in the middle of nowhere last week and now he doesn't know what to tell
the fans. He says Jarrett vs. Christian is the biggest title match in TNA
History. Austin Aries and Roderick Strong come into the scene. Austin has some
new threads on. He says he was told they looked the same, so he got some new
clothing. Larry says that doesn't matter. Chase Stevens of the Naturals comes in
and says they have been sitting on the side doing nothing even though they are
the former tag champs. Larry says AMW is sitting there with no opponents at
Against All Odds. Larry says there will be a tag team tournament the next two
weeks on Impact, and the team that wins will get the title shot against AMW at
Against All Odds.
--COMMERCIAL BREAK--
AJ Styles vs. Jay Lethal
Styles with a go behind, but Lethal nails a couple elbows. Lethal with a right
hand. Styles with a high drop kick. Lethal rolls to the outside. Styles charges
to the ropes, but Lethal climbs to the apron and nails him with a right hand.
Styles with a suplex on Lethal on the edge of the ringoutside the ropes. Samoa
Joe has walked out on the ramp to watch. Styles with a flying forearm to Lethal
in the corner. Styles sets up the Styles Clash, points at Joe on the ramp, but
Lethal gets to the ropes to break it. Lethal with a dropkick off the middle
rope. Lethal with a hip toss and a dropkick to the head. Lethal ducks a kick and
rolls up Styles for a 2 count. Styles with a loud right frearm. Styles goes into
a double underhook into the Styles Clash for the pinfall. Good match, although
very short. With Lethal allowed to get in more moves in a see-saw longer match,
they could really have a hell of a match. Probably a glimpse of a future PPV X
Division match sometime in 2006.
Winner: AJ Styles
-Joe and Styles stare at each other after the match.
-Team Canada is backstage with Taylor. D'Amore says its a great day to be
Canadian. He says the fans don't realize what they did voting Team 3D into a
match with Team Canada. He says Team Canada will take them out for good. Gail
Kim comes in with the tape that Jackie Gayda gave her last week. She says she
listened to it and Team Canada was mentioned. D'Amore says he will take care of
it. Gail says she doesn't want to lose her job. D'Amore says its his job to take
care of Jarrett's messes, and he's going to take care of it right now. He starts
to walk off, and Team Canada asks him where he's going since they have a match
next. He says to Team Canada that if he can't take care of this, there's going
to be no more matches for Team Canada.

-They show the Number One Contenders Tag Team Tournament brackets.
Number One Contenders Tag Team Tournament
Team Canada (Petey Williams & A-1 Ralphz) vs. Chris Sabin & Sonjay Dutt
Williams and Dutt start off. Dutt with an armdrag followed by another. Dutt
wrenches at the arm. He climbs to the top rope and does the Sprinkler. Dutt with
an elbow drop. Williams throws Dutt to the corner and tags in A1. Dutt with a
kick and some chops. Dutt with a running forearm. He goes up top and comes off.
A1 catches him. Dutt slips out, comes off the ropes where Williams distracts
him, and he turns around into a clothesline. A1 sets him up upside down in the
corner and tags in Williams. Williams lifts him up and punches him in the face.
A1 is tagged back in. Petey whips A1 into Dutt in the corner for a big
clothesline. A1 with a snap suplex. A1 pounds away at Dutt on the mat. A1 with a
knee drop to the chest. A1 pushes him to the corner and tags in Petey. A1 whips
him into Dutt, but Dutt gets up a boot. Dutt takes out A1 with a dropkick off
the middle rope. Sabin is tagged in. He takes down A1, then springboards off the
top with a drop kick to Petey. He uses a head scissors to take A1 out to the
floor. Sabin with a tornado DDT out of the corner on Williams. He goes for the
pinfall, but A1 makes the save. Sabin with a kick to the gut on A1. Sabin goes
for the Cradle Shock, but Williams takes him out with a chop block. A1 with a
clothesline, with Petey rolling Sabin up at the same time, for a 2 count. Petey
goes for the Canadian Destroyer, but Dutt comes in with a kick to break it. Dutt
sends A1 to the outside. Sabin blocks the Canadian Destroyer, nails an enziguiri,
and nails the Cradle Shock for the pinfall. Solid match.
Winners: Chris Sabin & Sonjay Dutt
-A "Global Impact" segment airs. They show TNA stars wrestling in Australia.
--COMMERCIAL BREAK--
-Taylor approaches Styles in the locker room backstage. Daniels comes into the
scene. Styles says they are even. Daniels says its never been about being even.
They again argue about Styles throwing in the towel at Final Resolution. Daniels
slaps him, and Styles comes back with fists and they get into a big brawl.
Security breaks it up.
LAX (Konnan, Homicide & Apolo) vs. Frankie Capone, Rod Steel & Bruce Steel
Apolo and Rod Steel start off. Other than Rod Steel, who had RS on his tights,
I'm not sure who is who on that team so I'm just guessing here. Apolo throws Rod
into the corner and nails some slaps and chops. Apolo with a running forearm in
the corner. Homicide is tagged in. He nails some kicks. Bruce is tagged in. He
is tossed to the outside. Homicide takes down Capone with a belly to belly. Its
a big brawl now. Homicide nails a bulldog on Capone off the shoulders of Apolo.
LAX gets the pinfall.
Winners: LAX
-After the match, the James Gang comes out and they get into a brawl. The James
Gang cleans house.
--COMMERCIAL BREAK--
-Tenay and West talks about Sting's retirement announcement last week.
-Highlights are shown from the Jeff Jarrett and Christian Cage press conference
earlier today. Tenay was the master of ceremonies at the conference. Larry is
shown giving some comments about the signing of the match. Dory Funk Jr. even
gives his thoughts, saying Jarrett occupies current top spot in wrestling but
Christian has the ability to take it away. Christian says this is the biggest
match of his career. He came to TNA to get the most coveted title in the
business. Jarrett talks about the people he has defended his title against.
Christian says he's taking the title whether he likes it or not. He says that
Sting proved by pinning Jarrett he has not lost a step. Jarrett counters saying
Sting was shakey in the ring that night. Christian says Sting wanted to leave on
top. Jarrett says Sting is a quitter. Jarrett is asked if he has any comments on
Jackie Gayda. He does not, and he gets angry. Monty Brown comes into the room
saying he could have signed the contract in the ring a few weeks ago, but he
didn't. Brown says he wants the next title shot. Christian says he guarantees
victory at Against All Odds. Jarrett and Christian get nose to nose. Jarrett
throws water at Christian. They get into a scuffle before people break them up.
Number One Contenders Tag Team Tournament
Austin Aries & Roderick Strong w/ Alex Shelley vs. The Naturals (Chase Stevens &
Andy Douglas)
Gail Kim and Scott D'Amore walk out. They go up to Alex Shelley. D'Amore tells
Shelley something, and he takes Shelley with him backstage. We then go to a
commercial break.
--COMMERCIAL BREAK--
Stevens and Aries start off. Aries takes him down. He puts on an armbar. Stevens
gets out and puts on one of his own. Aries tries to get out, but Stevens just
drops him on his back. Stevens with an armdrag into an armbar. Stevens with a
houlder block and hip toss. Stevens with a armdrag into an armbar. Aries breaks
it and tags in Strong. He gets a couple hip tosses right away. Douglas is tagged
in. Stevens nails a face buster and Douglas quickly follows that with a
neckbreaker. Strong comes back with a chop and comes off the ropes. He runs
right into a knee from Douglas. Stevens ist agged in. Douglas rams Strong's face
into Stevens knee. Douglas ist agged back in. They nail a double atomic drop.
Aries tried to interfere but ran right into Strong. Stevens elevates Douglas
over the top, and he comes crashing down on top of both his opponents on the
outside. Strong with a dropkick to Douglas. Douglas rolls to the outside and
fights with Aries. Aries tosses him back in the ring. Aries is tagged in. He
slingshots over the top with an elbow drop. Near fall. Aries chokes Douglas
across the middle rope. Strong is tagged in. He nails a loud chop in the corner.
Douglas comes back with one, but Strong quickly gives him a knee. Aries is
tagged in. He nails his pendelum elbow drop. Aries goes up top and comes off
with a leg drop that misses. Stevens is tagged. He takes down Aries with a
clothesline and a back body drop. Strong comes in to receive a flying forearm.
The Naturals work over both men together. Stevens with a dropkick to Aries.
Douglas throws Strong to the outside. They go for the Natural Disaster, but
Strong breaks it up and Aries rolls up Stevens for the pinfall using the ropes.
Good match.

-Taylor is backstage with Team Canada, AMW, and Jarrett. Jarrett says he wants
Alex Shelley to get dirt on Jackie Gayda with his camera. Jarrett says he has to
get it done for everyone because their jobs depend on it. Jarrett says don't
come back until he gets some dirt on her. Jarrett asks D'Amore if this will
work. He says he thinks it will work. Gail Kim and Jarrett get pissed and say it
better work. Eric young then looks into the camera all goofy like and says
"Sting's not gone. Do you hear that?" He says it makes him nervous.
