Welcome aboard people. Heat is back in its usual format this week. Lilian
Garcia is on hand to ring announce despite getting dropped by Viscera on Raw
(Yes I know Heat is pre-taped but they could have stuck a neck brace on her or
something to play up Heat being after Raw) so let's send it in for our first
match which is........
Umaga w/Armando Alejandro Estrada vs Wyatt Lara
Welcome to Heat Umaga and Estrada. I predict your stay will be a quick one. Lara
gets a hometown pop. Estrada runs through his usual spiel for all of us first
time Heat viewers. His name is Armando Alejandro Estrrrrrrrrrrrrrrada. He
represents the samoan bulldozer. UUUUUUUUUUmaga. Estrada now has some questions
for the hometown boy. Estrada asks the questions then quickly pulls the mic away
before Lara can answer. Is he confident? Estrada didn't think so. Lara looks
like he lifts weights. Does he go to the gym? Estrada didn't think so. Does Lara
think he has a chance against Estrada's monster? Estrada doesn't think so. Last
question. Is Lara prepared to get destroyed? Estrada thinks so, quickly ordering
Umaga to get him. Umaga kicks Lara into the corner. Lara rebounds, Umaga swings
a leg into the gut and clubs Lara down from behind as the bell goes to start the
bout. Umaga drills a hand into Lara's throat before landing a running kneedrop
to the head. The crowd start a let's go Lara chant but that gets silenced as
Umaga sends Lara off the ropes and delivers a high flapjack into a samoan drop
which impresses Estrada. Umaga places Lara's head down with his foot before
landing a falling headbutt from the second rope. Estrada instructs Umaga to end
it from the apron. Umaga sits Lara up before drilling him with the samoan spike
for the 1-2-3. Here is Your Winner: UMAGA. Good squash. Umaga will do well when
pushed into a big feud. Maybe with DX. That way Umaga could be the one that
takes out Shawn Michaels for his impending knee surgery.
Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch vs Preston James & Scott Commodity
No on-the-go commentary for Cade and Murdoch this week which is a shame really.
Grisham reveals Cade and Murdoch have their eyes on the Highlanders which means
they'll probably feud once the Highlanders are done with Matt Striker and Rob
Conway who in turn will probably feud with themselves. Maybe WWE will try to
re-ignite the Raw Tag Team division. Put Rob Conway with Val Venis and aswell as
Spirit Squad, Cade and Murdoch, Highlanders, Viscera and Charlie Haas it's a
start. Grisham and Coachman neglect to mention which Jobber is which. In truth
they don't know so I'll go by Jobber 1 and Jobber 2. Both Jobbers have matching
pants with Jobber 2 having his back tattooed. Cade lands a hard slap to the face
of Jobber 1 to begin. Cade clubs the back before hitting a running shoulder
tackle. Cade boots before shoving Jobber 1 to the corner where Cade boots some
more. Murdoch tags in taking over with some punches to the face. Murdoch
backelbows Jobber 1 down off the ropes before clubbing the back and talking some
trash. Murdoch sends Jobber 1 off the ropes, Jobber 1 telegraphs a backbodydrop
attempt with a boot to the head. Murdoch misses a lunge allowing Jobber 1 to tag
out. Murdoch catches Jobber 2 coming off the ropes, Jobber 2 slips behind
managing a rollup off the ropes for a nearfall. Murdoch with a side headlock.
Cade makes a blind tag as Murdoch gets sent off the ropes. Murdoch boots Jobber
2. Cade delivers an inverted atomic drop before Murdoch nails a running boot to
the face. Cade rams Jobber 2's head into the corner before driving his own head
into Jobber 2's gut a few times. Cade beats Jobber 2 down with a club and boots.
Cade distracts the referee allowing Murdoch to choke Jobber 2 in the ropes with
his hands. Cade rakes Jobber 2's head across the top rope then chokes in the
corner before Murdoch punches the gut. Cade and Murdoch whip Jobber 2's back
into the corner twice with a Murdoch punch in between. Cade boots the face and
rips at it in the ropes. Cade clubs Jobber 2 down. Cade applies a head vice.
Jobber 2 finally escapes via a jawbreaker and makes a tag. Jobber 1 unloads on
Cade with punches. Cade reverses off the ropes, Jobber 1 ducks a clothesline and
nails a flying shoulder tackle. Jobber 1 dropkicks Murdoch and plays to the
crowd. Jobber 1 spears Cade's gut in the corner. Jobber 1 charges into a Murdoch
backelbow then walks into a Cade spinebuster. Murdoch boots Jobber 2 off the
apron before Cade and Murdoch finish Jobber 1 off with their Sweet 'N' Sour
clothesline/legsweep combo. Cade covers. 1-2-3. Here Are Your Winners: LANCE
CADE & TREVOR MURDOCH. Another good squash match in my view.
Kenny w/Spirit Squad vs Snitsky
Main Event time. The Spirit Squad enter the ring with the aid of their
trampoline. Grisham and Coach allude to Kenny being the leader of the group with
the rest playing support roles. I tend to agree with the exception of Johnny.
The commentators compare 19 year old Kenny to Wayne Rooney and LeBron James
while predicting a bright future for him. Let's see if he can carry Snitsky
here. Kenny with a quick go-behind followed by some punches to the back. Snitsky
counters a ram into the corner before landing a hiptoss off the ropes, delayed
slam and elbowdrop off the ropes for a one count. Kenny rakes the face, Snitsky
reverses an Irish whip, Kenny avoids a charge resulting in Snitsky crashing
shoulderfirst into the ringpost. Mitch holds Snitsky as Mikey gets a shot in
from the outside before Kenny takes control by ramming Snitsky's left arm into
the ringpost then tying it up in the top rope. Kenny delivers a single arm DDT
for a nearfall. Kenny works over the arm for a while with elbows, rams to the
canvas, a nearfall, stomps and a kneedrop. Kenny throws Snitsky's arm against
the top turnbuckle. Kenny attempts two successive mounted punch assaults with
Snitsky throwing him off at five each time. Kenny ducks a running clothesline,
Kenny lands a dropkick, nearfall. Kenny applies an armbar, Snitsky starts to
punch free so Nicky gets on the apron for a distraction enabling Kenny to throw
Snitsky down by the hair. Kenny stomps then continues to throw the arm down to
the mat for a nearfall. Kenny drives Snitsky shoulderfirst to the corner.
Snitsky drops to his knees, Kenny dropkicks the shoulder, nearfall. Kenny goes
back to the armbar, Snitsky starts to fight back with punches so Kenny knees the
gut. Snitsky reverses off the ropes, Kenny boots the head but runs into a
clothesline. Snitsky with a second clothesline, Irish whip and backbodydrop.
Snitsky fires up setting up for the big boot. Mikey jumps onto the apron to
cause a distraction. Snitsky re-focuses but Kenny dodges a big boot, knees the
back delivers a roll the dice maneuver (twisting inverted DDT) then hits his top
rope legdrop for the 1-2-3. Here is Your Winner: KENNY. Some good singles
exposure here for Kenny who dominated with the rest of the Squad not interfering
as much as I first thought which was good. Kenny has a bright future. Good
match.
As the Squad celebrate Grisham speculates on what DX have in store for the
McMahons tomorrow night on Raw before signing off and thanking us for watching
to end the show. Not a bad show this week by any means. Worth a look. See you
next week. Shaun.
