Welcome aboard people. After seeing a fairly good Vengeance then the shit hit the McMahon on Raw it's time to Heat things up. A Hacksaw Jim Duggan squash has been edited off this week's show but we have Todd Grisham back fresh from his week off attending the World Cup so let's send it to Lilian Garcia for our first bout.

Matt Striker vs Snitsky
No Striker promo this week. Mega piped in cheers for Snitsky. Striker goes outside while Snitsky poses. Striker starts with a side headlock, Snitsky lifts, shoves Striker off the ropes into a shoulder tackle. Striker backs off for a re-think. Striker applies a wristlock, Snitsky reverses before throwing Striker down face first. Striker slips outside before getting back in at a referee's five count. A Striker sucks chant starts. Striker knees the gut. Striker can't slam Snitsky who hoists Striker up before placing him on the second rope. Snitsky turns to the referee allowing Striker to kick the jaw. Striker lands some punches but charges into a backelbow. Snitsky sizes up for a big boot, Striker moves, Snitsky gets his foot tied up in the ropes. Striker punches and tugs Snitsky to the canvas. With Snitsky's leg still in the second rope Striker kicks at it. As the referee tries to free Snitsky Striker chokes Snitsky with his boot. Striker punches at the leg before going outside and dropping it against the apron. Striker gets back in. Striker drops an elbow onto the leg. Striker then kicks at it cutting off Snitsky's fightback attempts with a rake to the face. The Striker sucks chant is evident again. Striker twists and torques at the leg using the ropes for leverage. Striker drops down on the leg then drops his weight onto it along the bottom rope before continuing to torque at it. Snitsky finally manages to push Striker onto the apron with his other foot. Snitsky fights off Striker while hobbling around the ring. Snitsky shoves Striker down then clotheslines twice. Snitsky sends Striker off the ropes into a backbodydrop. Snitsky connects with his patented big boot but can't follow up with a cover. Striker goes out to the apron motioning he's using his head. Snitsky goes to suplex Striker back in who botches a slip behind attempt resulting in both men falling to the mat. Striker chopblocks Snitsky then covers with his feet on the ropes for the 1-2-3 before bailing to the outside. Here is Your Winner: MATT STRIKER. Bad bad match. Very boring with a botched ending. Surely Snitsky will soon be on his way out of the WWE.

Shelton Benjamin vs Brad Allen
Allen is the hometown boy. Mixed reaction for Shelton as no-one knows how to react to him...yet. He's still a heel. Shelton invites Allen forward for a closer look and a chat before Shelton slaps him and goes to work with a series of punches. Shelton pulls Allen up by the hair sending him off the ropes into a modified alabama slam. Shelton swats Allen with his boot before punching and kneeing him in the ropes. Shelton kicks the rope sending Allen to the outside. After another boot swat Shelton puts Allen in and yanks back on his arm stretching it across his neck. Coach says he's never seen Shelton this vicious or upset. Grisham adds Shelton normally uses his athleticism and agility but is using his brute strength here. Coach sums things up perfectly saying this is completely different to what we're used to seeing from Shelton. He's decided not to use his skills. In other words he's been told not to and this is a ground and pound bore. What a waste of what could have been a nice Shelton showcase. Shelton hits a series of knees to the head before pulling Allen around the ring by the hair. Shelton shoves Allen to the corner twice. Allen avoids a corner charge, Shelton hits the corner allowing Allen to land a couple of forearms. Shelton reverses off the ropes, Allen hits a flying forearm. Allen boots the gut goes for a DDT but Shelton shoves Allen down. Shelton floors Allen with a boot to the face. Shelton picks Allen up and after some knees to the gut and clubs to the back Shelton hits his exploder suplex for the 1-2-3 with an arrogant hand over the face cover. Here is Your Winner: SHELTON BENJAMIN. Post match Shelton disposes of Allen through the ropes. Boring on the most part. Shelton was part of a great match at Vengeance but is unrecognizable here following this rubbish. No Athleticism shown. Shelton is not a brawler.

Rob Conway vs Eugene
Main event time. This looks like a continuation of the backstage skirmish from Raw last week. During Eugene's entrance we pick up some pre-recorded comments from Conway. The Con-Man has been on a losing Streak but tonight if Eugene thinks he has a chance to beat him then he had better jump him from behind the way he did last week. You see Conway needs more than anything tonight to beat Eugene and prove that he's not a loser. The Con-Man is a winner. Back to live action, Eugene struggles to remove his coat. A Eugene chant starts which Eugene encourages. Conway slaps away Eugene's offer of a handshake. Conway begins with a schoolboy for one. Conway grabs an arm into a side headlock. Eugene tries to reverse the hold but Conway keeps it applied. Eugene sends off the ropes, Conway hits a shoulder tackle for a one count. Conway goes back to the side headlock. Eugene escapes by rolling him and Conway back on the mat. Eugene pokes the eyes and wiggles. Conway reverses off the ropes, Eugene catches a Conway leapfrog with an inverted atomic drop. Eugene hits two chops to the head. Eugene drop toeholds then rides Conway round the ring like a horse. Eugene then spanks the referee but this allows Conway to level Eugene with a clothesline. Conway delivers a neckbreaker then a back suplex for nearfalls. Eugene crawls to the corner. Conway works over him with punches then a boot choke. Conway chokes Eugene in the second rope with his hands before clubbing the back. Eugene staggers round and is halfway in/out of the ring. Conway advances pulling Eugene's back against the ropes before clubbing at his throat. Eugene falls back in clutching his throat. Conway covers for a nearfall. Eugene rolls onto the apron. Eugene lands two headbutts to Conway's gut before sunset flipping back in for a nearfall of his own. Conway catches Eugene in a sleeper. Eugene goes down and starts to fade but he manages to keep his arm up before getting up and driving Conway into the corner twice to release his grip. Grisham says Eugene is fully erect and Coach is in stunned silence. Eugene picks up an advancing Conway in an aeroplane spin. Both men stagger into one another and momentarily rest shoulder to shoulder before Eugene wakes up to hit a side russian legsweep. Eugene misses with an elbowdrop, Conway sends Eugene's head into the corner three times but Eugene Eugene's up. Eugene connects with punches but as he winds up for the big one Conway hits a dropkick for a nearfall. Conway goes for a slam, Eugene slips behind pushes Conway off the ropes into a big boot. Eugene cups his hand to his ear before hitting a legdrop off the ropes. 1-2-kickout. Eugene can't believe it. Conway charges, Eugene hits a spinebuster then sets up for the people's elbow even removing his imaginary elbowpad. Eugene goes for it but Conway gets up catching Eugene in mid flight with a powerslam. Conway fires up, goes to the second rope landing a leg lariat. Cover 1-2-kickout yet again. (Man this is good stuff). Now it's Conway's turn to be in disbelief. Conway gets Eugene up perches him onto the top rope then delivers the Ego Trip. 1-2-foot on the rope. Conway is denied again. Conway debates with the referee before angrily turning back to Eugene who hooks a small package. 1-2-3. Here is Your Winner: EUGENE. Post match A spent Eugene rolls outside and is proclaimed the winner as Conway lets rip from the ring. This was the best WWE match these two have had. Not as much comedy from Eugene which was good. A genuine Heat Match of the Year candidate for sure.
