Lance Cade vs Eugene
Grisham has assumed the heel color commentator role while Styles is handling the play-by-play duties. Some nice shoot comments to begin by both. Styles notes here he's allowed to have some personality while Grisham goads him by saying now Styles can actually call some Wrestling moves as they don't allow him to on Raw. Eugene nearly falls over the ropes while waving to the fans. Eugene shakes hands with and hugs the referee but Cade slaps Eugene's hand away resulting in Eugene getting upset. Cade works on Eugene's arm to begin and applies a wristlock. Eugene with an armwringer, Cade knees the gut, Cade applies a side headlock, Eugene sends off the ropes, Cade steps over and we get the Criss Cross running spot where Eugene slips outside but Cade is wise to this and stops running. Eugene waves to Cade then crawls under the ring. Cade says he'll wait on him on the other side. It's more fool Cade as Eugene predictably slips back in from the side he went under and gets a nearfall following a rollup off the ropes. Eugene avoids a Cade charge in the corner then starts to bite on Cade's ass (or as Styles calls it Eugene has a butt steak). Eugene with an inverted atomic drop as Grisham can't keep up with Styles' quick wit. Eugene calls for a Hacksaw Jim Duggan three point stance clothesline but Cade moves sending Eugene shoulderfirst into the ringpost. Cade wrenches at the arm before tying it up behind Eugene's back exposing the shoulder and driving it into the turnbuckles. Grisham is glad this has turned into a wrestling match and not Piccadilly Circus prompting Styles to say Piccadilly is the name of the frilly collars that goes on dresses. The crowd break into a Eugene chant as Cade holds Eugene's arm and drives his shoulder into the injured one of Eugene's a couple of times. Cade with some slaps to the head of Eugene reels Eugene in who fights back with a backelbow to Cade. Cade clubs Eugene down then rains down punches on his head. Cade argues with the referee before trapping Eugene in an armbar on the mat. Styles says that Cade is using a fundamental he picked up from his trainer Shawn Michaels but Grisham opts to move away from the subject of the match and goes into Backlash hype as Eugene begins to get up. Cade cuts Eugene off with a knee but mistakenly drives Eugene's head into the corner. Grisham for once focuses on the match and informs Styles this is Eugene Eugeneing up. Eugene points at Cade and hits some rights while still selling his left arm/shoulder as being injured. Cade staggers into the ropes, turns and Eugene lifts for an airplane spin but wait Eugene can't lift Cade and Eugene favours his shoulder. Cade charges but Eugene catches him in a Rock Bottom which Styles puts over. Eugene doesn't go for the cover as he opts to put on Cade's cowboy hat and make a show of himself. Eugene gets Cade up and Irish whips. Eugene charges into a boot which sends the hat flying. Cade picks it up and remarks Eugene wants to be funny wearing his hat. Cade gets Eugene up, places the hat on him then delivers a vicious lariat off the ropes (which Styles does a good job of putting over) for the 1-2-3. Good opening match and start by Styles who tried to place the emphasis on the in-ring action. I've said before I'm a fan of Cade's ring work and interaction with the crowd and I'll say it again. He's really come on in recent months. Here is Your Winner: LANCE CADE.

Goldust & Snitsky (SnitskyDust/Freakshow) vs Andy Simmons & Eric Schwarz
Both freaks come out to Goldust's music. Simmons sees action again. Schwarz had a WWE tryout last year and has been on Heat too about a year ago as part of a job team in a loss to the Heart Throbs (remember them). Grisham likens Snitsky and Goldust coming out to that of Styles and Coach on Raw LOL. Goldust begins by backing Simmons to the corner. Goldust freaks out Simmons with his mind games prompting Simmons to talk trash and shove Goldust then flex for the fans. Lockup, Goldust reverses a hammerlock winds up the arm and slaps Simmons' ass around the ring. Goldust tags Snitsky and Simmons is the recipient of a Hart Attack. Snitsky covers for a nearfall (that move is worthy of being a finisher). Simmons goes face first to the corner where Snitsky unloads with boots. Snitsky with a long delayed vertical suplex (not that impressive considering Simmons' size and weight). Snitsky thinks about savouring Simmons' feet but Simmons breaks Snitsky's grip of his leg and tags in Schwarz. Snitsky with a side headlock, shoulder tackle step over and hiptoss reversal to Schwarz. Snitsky with a slam, drops an elbow, nearfall. Schwarz is sent to the freaks' corner where Goldust tags in. Goldust with a boot, Schwarz rakes the face, clubs the back and gets in a shot to the face. Schwarz clubs again and tags in Simmons who punches the gut of the Golden one. Goldust off the ropes hits a drop down shot to Simmons. Goldust with an inverted atomic drop, Simmons to the corner, Goldust mounts delivering a ten punch assault with a wiggle and short delay between the ninth and tenth blow. Simmons reverses an Irish whip but charges into a powerslam. 1-2-no. Snitsky tags and clubs Simmons. Irish whip and corner clothesline by Snitsky. Simmons drops down to the mat, Snitsky drags him away from the corner by the leg, starts to untie Simmons' boot and goes into his fetish trance. Goldust begs Snitsky not to live out his fetish. Goldust runs in to deck Schwarz with a punch and tells Snitsky to knock it off. Snitsky switches his attention to Schwarz's foot and as the referee tries to intervene Goldust takes advantage by setting up and nailing Shattered Dreams to Simmons in the corner. Snitsky comes out of his trance, kicks Schwarz to the outside then stalks Simmons who gets up only for Snitsky to club him down from behind. Snitsky gets Simmons up in a wheelbarrow position and Goldust aids Snitsky throw Simmons backwards with a vicious german suplex. Styles reveals this move as an Ocean Cyclone suplex (Japanese term) or Wheelbarrow suplex (U.S. term). Thank you Mr Styles. I'm digging this. The old ECW style Joey Styles is being allowed to come out and play-by-play. Yes there was a pun intended there. Snitsky covers. 1-2-3. An entertaining squash match. I'll even give Snitsky some credit as he's more effective in his current role even if his face turn was never explained or acknowledged. Here Are Your Winners: GOLDUST & SNITSKY. Post match Snitsky starts to clean Goldust's boot as Goldust celebrates but Goldust catches him in the act and gets out of dodge with Snitsky in hot pursuit en route to the back. Goldust trips up and both men tumble through the curtain.

Trevor Murdoch vs Kane
For the record it's announced during this match that the release date for See No Evil outside of the U.S. is unknown. I doubt it'll make Cinemas here in the UK. It's probably going to be a straight to DVD release. It looks a good gorey flick from the trailers so far. The crowd chant May 19th a little during the match but Kane is still cheered by the majority. Kane's pyro nearly makes Murdoch jump out of his skin. Murdoch attacks Kane from behind before the bell but after charging into a Kane throat punch Kane takes control with a second throat punch and backbodydrop off the ropes. Kane drives Murdoch's head into the corner. Kane with a club to the back and slam. Kane misses with an elbow off the ropes but sits right up. Murdoch recovers in the corner managing to backelbow a charging Kane then hit a sweet neckbreaker from the second rope. Murdoch taunts the crowd, Kane sits up once again taking down a charging Murdoch with a big boot. Kane chokes Murdoch on the mat with his hand and knee and mixes in some punches to the head in between. Murdoch tries getting up but Kane boots him down off the ropes before choking him again but this time with his boot. Kane takes Murdoch to two corners of the ring to punch, press at and drive an elbow into his face before punching Murdoch down. Kane sits Murdoch up only to boot him back down. Kane off the ropes with another boot to Murdoch who is then placed in the corner. Kane delivers an Irish whip and corner clothesline. Kane hits a second corner clothesline followed by a sidewalk slam. Kane to the top rope comes off hitting Murdoch with a clothesline. Kane puts Murdoch out of his misery with a chokeslam to end this squash. 1-2-3. Here is Your Winner: KANE. Nice selling by Murdoch. His offense wasn't sloppy either mind you he only hit a couple of moves. Kane is looking ready for Big Show tonight.
