Welcome back people. Let's get on with the show. Heat begins
this week with........
Lance Cade vs Eugene
Eugene receives a nice pop and hugs a special needs kid sitting at ringside.
Eugene waves to the crowd then hugs the referee. Eugene calls for a test of
strength but keeps switching arms as Cade obliges and falls for Eugene's games
before Eugene does his little shuffle. Cade locksup with Eugene, Cade applies a
side headlock, Eugene sends off the ropes, Cade steps over and both run the
ropes while crossing over one another until Eugene tells Cade to stop and points
to the sky. Cade looks and Eugene hits a shot to the face then shuffles again.
Eugene crawls under a lunge and bites Cade's ass. Eugene rolls outside and puts
on Cade's jacket and cowboy hat and walks outside and back in as Cade laughs.
Cade applauds then raises Eugene's arm and asks the crowd to give Eugene a round
of applause. After asking the third side of the crowd Cade levels Eugene with a
clothesline. Cade gets a ton of heat as he takes the jacket off Eugene and whips
him with it. After some mounted mat punches the crowd break into a big loud
Eugene chant. Cade sends Eugene off the ropes who telegraphs a backbodydrop
attempt with a boot to the head. Eugene boots the gut and goes for a Stunner but
Cade sends Eugene to the corner before coming off the ropes and nailing a
bulldog 1-2-no. Cade picks up Eugene and hits a belly-to-belly suplex for
another nearfall. Cade drives Eugene to the corner backfirst where Cade
unleashes a series of punches, boots and hand/boot chokes as the Eugene chant
starts up again. Cade slaps Eugene as he brings him to his feet and goes for a
neckbreaker but Eugene counters into a backslide for the victory. 1-2-3. Here is
Your Winner: EUGENE. Eugene quickly gets out of dodge to leave a furious Cade in
the ring. Cade really had good heat in this and played to the crowd a lot who
got hot for Eugene as a result. Another impressive outing for Cade who continues
to impress me.
Grisham has a WrestleMania Revenge Tour update for us for Birmingham on April
20th at the NEC Arena. Big Show & Kane face Carlito & Chris Masters and the
Masterpiece is Grisham's guest. Grisham tells Masters of his challenge with two
of the biggest superstars in the history of the WWE. Masters agrees and says
combined Kane and Show must be about a zillion pounds but as long as that
sideshow bob looking freak Carlito doesn't try to screw Chris Masters and he
carries his weight Carlito and Chris Masters are coming out victorious. If Big
Show and Kane don't believe the Masterpiece then he's got one word for them.
Masterlock. Grisham signs off plugging WWE.Com for details.
Matt Striker vs Chris Valenzuela
Striker's opponent is announced Chris Valen which Grisham corrects later in the
match. Striker cuts a promo on his way to the ring again. Striker says once
again class is in session and once again we need him to teach the lessons that
need to be taught. Everything Striker does is educational. For instance Striker
asks which historical figure has inspired his wrestling apparel that he dons
this evening? (Striker has roses on his trunks) Anyone anyone, no-one? Why it's
the great French philosopher Voltaire and if we don't know who he is feel free
to look him up. Striker turns to face his opponent and calls him young man and
says his name is Christopher correct? Chris nods. Striker says Christopher
tonight will learn a very valuable physical lesson from him, Matt Striker, his
teacher. Striker concludes by asking someone to chime the metallic device (ringbell)
and we're underway. Striker punches Valenzuela down into the corner and
facewashes him a couple of times before connecting with a running facewash as
Grisham says last week Striker broke the nose of his opponent (who turned out to
be the Freakin' Deacon. I didn't know that). Valenzuela recovers in the ropes so
Striker kicks the rope before landing a back suplex for a nearfall. Striker ties
up Valenzuela's arm on the mat and rubs his elbow into his face. Valenzuela gets
up, punches free and sends Striker off the ropes into a clothesline. Valenzuela
hits a second clothesline and an awful dropkick off the ropes for a nearfall
before firing up. Valenzuela comes off the ropes and leaps onto Striker who
counters into a faceplant and finishes him off with a Rocker Dropper/Overdrive
maneuver. Here is Your Winner: MATT STRIKER. Post match Striker double stomps
Valenzuela on his way out of the ring.
Rob Conway vs Viscera
Big Vis is back in the Heat house. Let's see if the model of excellence can
break his long losing streak. Heat is currently the Viscera show and he's 2-1
against Conway I think at the moment. Conway halts proceedings at the start to
pass his shades to the referee but he quickly takes advantage of the pause to
pound on Viscera who catches a cross body attempt off the ropes and slams
Conway. Conway rolls outside, Viscera follows and slaps Conway's chest after
propping him up on the guardrail. Conway goes to the ringpost, Viscera charges,
Conway moves, Viscera hits the ringpost. Viscera gets in as Conway drops an
elbow onto the shoulder from the second rope. Conway follows up with a series of
elbows while keeping his arm flexed before dropping the last one for a nearfall.
Conway keeps Viscera grounded with stomps then plays to the booing crowd. Conway
gets Viscera up who shoves Conway away. Conway ducks a clothesline and takes
Viscera down with a flying forearm off the ropes for another nearfall. Conway
with some mat punches walks over Viscera and goes to the second rope. Conway
leaps off but Viscera catches Conway with a samoan drop. Conway recovers in the
corner, Viscera pumps up and lands a splash. Conway collapses, Viscera turns him
over plays to the crowd (they know what's coming) gyrates splashes the back,
pulls Conway's trunks up and performs Visagra. Grisham loves this move. Conway
staggers up and into the Sex Drive for the 1-2-3. Short match and Conway's
losing streak continues. What a bummer eh Rob? Here is Your Winner: VISCERA.
Grisham's back with another WrestleMania Revenge Tour update this time for
Cardiff, Wales on the 24th of April. Grisham says John Cena will be in action
the night after his birthday and with that he introduces the champ. Cena comes
in telling Cardiff, Wales to lock the city down before telling us to make sure
that we come and watch the WWE, the world's greatest show. We've done, seen it
before so act like we know. Diamonds on his neck and shoulder baby the champ is
going to be up there doing his thing a day after his birthday so we're going to
have to celebrate and do it like only we do. The best show in town is coming
straight to us. Cena motions you can't see him and signs off with an aha then
Grisham tells us to go to WWE.Com for the info.
Tyson Tomko vs Chavo Guerrero
Main Event time. Chavo will soon be competing with Viscera for the longest stay
and winning run on Heat. Tomko attacks Chavo before the bell while he's up on
the corner with a series of punches and kicks as the Eddie chants start. Tomko
throws Chavo through the ropes before going out driving him into the apron and
putting him back in where Chavo tries to fight back and ducks underneath Tomko
after coming off the ropes. Tomko boots and presses Chavo over his head before
catching and tossing him to the mat with a throwaway slam for a nearfall. Tomko
chokes Chavo on the mat with his hands then again in the middle rope. Tomko
knees Chavo in the corner and drives his hands into Chavo's face. Tomko Irish
whips, Chavo leaps over a charge rolls back and charges but Tomko catches and
powerslams Chavo for another nearfall. Tomko rips at Chavo's face before
applying a couple of chinlocks and the Eddie chants start to pick up. Chavo
elbows out, Tomko clubs the back and Irish whips but charges into an elbow.
Chavo uppercuts Tomko and Tomko falls on his ass. Chavo hits a standing dropkick
and starts to feel it. Chavo with a boot and uppercut sends Tomko off the ropes
into a flying cross body attack for a nearfall. Chavo uppercuts Tomko into the
ropes, Tomko reverses off the ropes and counters a Tornado DDT attempt but he
can't counter the three amigos wait yes he can Tomko blocks the third lifts
Chavo up and drives him backfirst into the corner. Tomko lifts Chavo ready for a
running powerslam but Chavo counters into a Tornado DDT. Chavo then heads up top
and nails the frog splash for the 1-2-3. I don't like Chavo's frog splash but
this match was better than Chavo's match with Snitsky last week. Here is Your
Winner: CHAVO GUERRERO. Post match Chavo poses and salutes the crowd and Eddie.
Grisham and Coachman hype up WrestleMania before Grisham signs off and thanks us
for watching to end the show. I'll be back with Special Edition Heat and
Velocity next week as we have another WWE Supershow tomorrow night. On that note
take care, enjoy the week ahead and I'll catch you later. Shaun.
