WWE Sunday Night Heat Opener:
Todd Grisham and the Coach welcome us to Heat as the music of Batista is already
blasting over the air waves. Looks like our first
match starts.. now!
Referee: Chad Patton
Batista vs. Val Venis
The start:
The two men lock up and Batista shoves Val Venis in the corner. Val comes firing
with right hands followed a by a boot to Batista's face. Venis takes Batista
down with some strong kicks to the back on Batista's legs. Val comes off the
ropes though only to run into a Batista spinebuster. Batista covers for two and
then starts work on the back of Val Venis ending with a large vertical suplex
for another two count. The two men take it to the outside where Batista works on
the throat of Val Venis.
Val Venis eventually starts to fight back but he runs into a back elbow. Batista
then scoops him up over his head and drives him hard to the mat for a two count.
Venis fires back after getting an elbow up, he starts to unload on Batista in
the corner and he goes for a knockdown on Batista but Batista fires back with a
harsh clothesline.
The finish:
Batista screams at the crowd letting them know the Batista bomb is coming. He
picks Val up and comes down hard with the sit down powerbomb. Batista hangs on
and gets the pin!

Steven Lee vs. Viscera
The start:
Viscera scoops Steven Lee up and slams him down hard. Lee reverses with an arm
bar followed by a few shots but Viscera chucks him in the corner and chops away
before tossing him across the ring. Viscera hangs Steven Lee in the tree of woe
in the corner and then he runs and splashes Lee with his ass. Viscera follows up
with a bunch of clotheslines. He gives Steven Lee a full nelson slam followed by
an elbow drop, but Vis misses! Steven Lee chops and chops away on Viscera only
to catch a very nasty belly to belly slam from Viscera. Viscera goofs again and
Lee dropkicks him but Viscera follows up with a spinning heel kick (kind of)
Viscera then clobbers the living hell out of Steven Lee for fun.
The Finish:
Viscera picks up Steven Lee and nails him with the sit-down choking powerbomb
for the pin and victory.
Winner - Viscera
Todd and the Coach argue a bit over the fact that Chris Benoit's team won
Survivor Series and now get to run Raw. Highlights are then shown of the match
Maven made between Chris Benoit and Shelton Benjamin against Edge and Christian.
It all ended bad for Christian when Edge SNAPPED on Christian after the match
slamming him into the ring post.

Tyson Tomko vs. The Hurricane
The start:
The two men lock up and Tyson tosses the Hurricane off early. They relock and
Hurricane takes the upper hand but only for a second until Tyson powers him off
the ropes. Hurricane gets an elbow to the face of Tomko and he follows up with a
punch count in the corner. Tyson chokes the Hurricane and then tosses him into
the corner. He then lifts Hurricane over his head and drops him down with the
fallaway slam. Hurricane rolls outside where Tomko slams him off the ring apron.
Tyson then tosses Hurricane 8 feet high with a nasty back body drop. Tyson then
works on the jaw of Hurricane as the crowd tries to help Hurricane out a bit.
Hurricane fights back with elbows followed by a cross body for a one count.
Hurricane comes off the ropes again but this time he runs into a nasty
clothesline.
Tyson starts to wear the Hurricane down a bit but the Hurricane fires back with
right hands. Hurricane gets a boot up to the chin of Tomko and then he nails him
with a tornado DDT for a two count. Hurricane climbs the top rope and he lands a
big clothesline on Tomko who again kicks out at two. Hurricane comes off the
ropes though only to get a big boot to his face for a count of two.
The finish:
Tyson and Hurricane reverse a few moves, Hurricane gets a thumb to the eye of
Tyson but Tyson reverses an arm hold and picks The Hurricane up with the
sideways fireman’s carry into the falling neck breaker. Tyson makes the cover
and gets the victory!
Winner - Tyson Tomko
Todd and the Coach lead us into some highlights of Maven running Raw and
thinking over his long decision all night where he decided not to join
Evolution.

Chris Jericho vs. Steven Richards
The start:
The two men lock up and Jericho takes Richards down with a side headlock
takedown, Richards breaks it with scissors. Jericho dances a bit and Richards
mocks him and shoves him but this sets Jericho off with chops galore. Jericho
splashes Richards in the corner and then he comes off the ropes with a hard back
elbow sending Richards down. Richards goes to the outside to get his head
together. The two get back at it but Jericho takes control again. Richards gets
a sunset flip on Jericho but Jericho rolls through and puts Richards in the
wall! Richards goes quickly to the ropes though and he gets up on the apron,
Jericho goes for his dropkick but he goes flying over the top and to the
outside. Richards then takes control in the ring with a neck breaker followed by
some crowd playing. Richards chops away at Jericho before he follows up with a
back suplex. Richards places Jericho in a body scissors attempting to cut off
his air.
Jericho hulks it up a bit to his feet where he elbows away on Richards, but as
Jericho goes to make a run Richards grabs him by the hair. Richards picks
Jericho up and gives him the vertical suplex/neck breaker. Richards places Y2J
on the ropes where he mocks Jericho with the dancing before the big knee.
Richards runs at Y2J though and gets clotheslined right across the jaw. Jericho
follows up with some hard knock downs and clotheslines. Jericho ducks a blow and
yells "come on assclown" to Richards who runs and gets a drop toe hold on the
middle rope. Jericho then dances and hits his big knee! Jericho then plants
Steven Richards with the bulldog!
The finish:
Jericho comes off the ropes to hit the Lionsault but Richards gets his knees up!
Richards then hits a spinebuster and pins Jericho, but Jericho BARELY kicks out!
Steven calls for the Stevie kick but when he goes to strike Jericho gets a hold
of his legs and places him in the Walls. After 10 seconds of pain, Richards taps
out!
