Sunday Night Heat Opened with Kane and Eric
Bischoff talking about the number one contendership, and Kane destroying
Bischoff’s office.
VAL VENIS VS. STEVEN RICHARDS
A great match going both ways, with Richards introducing an new signature move.
Near the end of the match Richards pulled down his kneepads, felt his tights,
then shadow boxed the turnbuckle. He went insane, but Val won with the Money
Shot.
WINNER: VAL VENIS
After a commercial break, a review of the Shawn Michaels versus HH match is
shown, as well the attack on Michaels by Kane on Raw.
The WWE Slam of the Week is the HHH/Eugene bit on Raw.
MAVEN VS. JOEY SINATRA (THATS WHAT SNOW SAID!)
Joey acted cocky the whole time, and with his smaller size did well. Maven has
yet to come up with a finisher, as he used a Russian Leg Sweep to finish the
unknown wrestler out.
WINNER: MAVEN
After a commercial break, the 3 on 3 main event on Raw was reviewed.
SHELTON BENJAMIN VS. GARRISON CADE
It is disappointing how Shelton’s push was not as well received as people would
have hoped, but his in ring skills have not diminished much. The crowd went
insane for Benjamin, and he showed that he still deserved the hype by defeating
Cade after a commercial break during the match, and with a modified suplex that
he uses.
WINNER: SHELTON BENJAMIN
