Maven versus Stevie Richards
"I'll show you!  You'll see!"  I think the GM of Sunday Night Heat better start showing quite a bit more if the best he can do is the opening match on the B-show for Raw. But Stevie gets a big face pop from the Montreal crowd.  We start off with Stevie complaining about how slick Maven is.  The ref has Maven towel off and Stevie lands a big cheap shot to take the advantage.  Punches and chops by the Heat GM.  Maven hits a hiptoss and dropkick and Stevie goes to the floor.  Maven follows and the two trade punches on the ramp for a bit.  Stevie slams Maven into the ring and climbs in the ring as the referee counts.  The ref gets to nine and Maven climbs back into the ring.  Stevie stomps away and does the big Kevin Sullivan stomp into Maven's belly.  A knee and stretch by Stevie.  Maven escapes and nails Stevie with a reverse atomic drop that has Stevie singing soprano.  Fists are exchanged and Maven scores with the backdrop and big splat on Stevie.  Maven flips Stevie in the corner and gets two.  Maven goes up, but Stevie catches him and goes for the Stevie-DDT.  Maven reverses with a facebuster to get the pin.
Winner: Maven

WWE SLAM OF THE WEEK:  From Raw on Monday, Edge spears Chris Benoit by mistake and La Resistance take advantage.  Corkscrew Suplex doubleteam by La Resistance and they get the win over Edge and Benoit and become the new World Tag Team Champions.

The Hurricane & Rosey versus Jack Karloff & John Lugosi
I apologize if the names are wrong for the jobbers. I'm just going by what Al & Coach called them and you know how they are.  Rosey starts off by dominating Karloff and working on the arm.  Lugosi in and he gets nailed by the leg of the Hurricane.  Karloff in and he sends the Hurricane to the floor.  Backbreaker by Karloff for 2.  Boris Jr. stomps away at the Hurricane and does a surfboard and dropkick to get a two count.  Eye of Hurricane by Sugar Shane Hurricane and both men tag out.  Rosey takes control and runs over everyone with clotheslines and shoulder blocks.  Legdrop on Karloff for two.  The superheroes hit the airplane spin & neckbreaker combo move on Lugosi and get the pin.
Winners: Hurricane and Rosey

We see a few brief shots from the big press conference this past week in Toronto announcing the return of SummerSlam 2004 to the Air Canada Center.  Now we had back to Monday Night again and see Shelton Benjamin take on the "Legend Killer" Randy Orton in a non-title match.  Shelton hits the floor as the referee ejects Batista from ringside.  Fast forward to Shelton nails Orton with a backslide for two. Randy pokes the eyes and takes a walk up the ramp.  Shelton follows and gets a big sucker punch for his trouble.  They go back to the ring and Shelton catches Randy with a powerslam to get the pin and win. Winner: Shelton Benjamin.  At the Bad Blood PPV, it will be Randy Orton defending the Intercontinental Championship against Shelton Benjamin.

Rhyno versus Rory McGregor
Rory looks like the Headbangers long lost child.  He wears a kilt while wrestling. Roddy Piper once said, "Real Men Wear Kilts!".  Piper obviously never got to see McGregor.  Rhyno plays nice to start off with an amateur style takedown, but Rory quickly plants a kick in the guts on Rhyno and slams him for two.  Fists by Rory and another two count.  Rhyno throws in some chops, but Rory locks in a chinlock that looks very low across the throat.  Rhyno escapes with a suplex and both men are down.  Rory is up first and throws some fists, but Rhyno is pissed off.  Fists, clotheslines and a belly to belly suplex by the Man-Beast.  GORE! GORE! GORE! and Rhyno takes home the win.
Winner: Rhyno

WWE COLOR OF THE NIGHT:  Back to Monday night as Coach apologizes to Eugene, but then sets him up for an attack by Kane.

We go back to Monday and see Eugene no-selling Kane's offense and "Hulking up".  Eugene sends Kane to the floor.  Kane tosses some chairs into the ring and then tosses the referee around a bit as well.  Eugene nails Kane with a DDT on the chair as the ref calls for the bell.  Eugene wins over Kane by DQ.  Kane sits up and is totally hot.  He kicks down Eugene with the boot and nails the big chokeslam. He's ready for a tombstone, but Chris Benoit comes for the save.  Benoit goes for a cross-face, but Kane takes a powder and bails to the floor.

At the Bad Blood PPV next Sunday, we will see:
World Championship Match:  Chris Benoit (c) versus Kane
Hell In The Cell:  Triple H versus Shawn Michaels
We get treated to a well done video recap showing the success of HHH over the years in Hell In The Cell encounters.  Now we get to see some video highlights of the WWE "Tour of Defiance" from the UK last week with clips from Manchester and Birmingham, UK.

Batista versus Val Venis
Val starts off slow with a headlock, but Batista responds with a hard shoulder.  Val decides to go after the leg with kicks and some leglocks.  A knee by Val sends Batista to the floor and Val follows.  Batista sends Val into the apron and takes control, working on the back of the "Big Valbowski".  Suplex and knees to the back by Batista.  Val sneaks in a roll-up for two.  Batista lands a kick, but Val lands a big backdrop.  Neckbreaker by Val and he heads to the top.  Batista catches him and lands a huge superplex.  Powerbomb by Batista and he gets the pin.
Winner: Batista
