Teams were partnered together by a random drawing, or "lethal lottery."  The winners of the matches would go onto a battle royal to determine a winner.  The winner got a Battlebowl ring and a title shot at the WCW Heavyweight Championship at Starrcade 1993

Big Van Vader and Cactus Jack defeated Charlie Norris and Harlem Heat's Kane.

Brian Knobbs and Johnny B Badd defeated Erik Watts and Paul Roma

The Shockmaster and Paul Orndorff defeated Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat and Lord Steven Regal.

King Kong and Dustin Rhodes defeated Awesome Kong and the Equalizer.

Sting and Jerry Saggs defeated Ron Simmons and Keith Cole.

Ric Flair and Stunning Steve Austin defeated 2 Cold Scorpio and Maxx Payne.

Ravishing Rick Rude and Shanghai Pierce defeated Marcus Bagwell and Tex Slazenger.

Road Warrior Hawk and Rip Rogers defeated Davey Boy Smith and Harlem Heat's Kole.

Big Van Vader threw out Sting to win the Battlebowl Ring.
