Rob Van Dam
RVD scores the victory with a Van
Daminator and a backflip splash.
Gran Hamada,
Great Sasuke, and Masato Yakushiji vs. Mens
Teioh, Dick Togo, and Taka Michinoku
These men were all brought in from
Michinoku Pro Wrestling for this match. The Great Sasuke pins
Taka Michinoku after a tiger suplex for the win for his team.
"The
Franchise" Shane Douglas (TV Champion) vs. Pitbull #2
Shane Douglas retains the title with
a belly-to-belly suplex.
Taz vs.
Sabu
This match was highly anticipated
for about a year and a half. A great match, which features Taz
scoring the win with the Katihajime.
The Sandman vs.
Stevie Richards vs. Terry Funk
No. 1 Contender for the ECW World
Title Match
Funk and Sandman hit a double
powerbomb on Stevie to eliminate him. This match featured barbed
wire, a ladder, and a Terry Funk moonsault, which finished it
off, and Terry Funk was named the new number one contender.
Raven (ECW
Champion) vs. Terry Funk
Raven attacked right away, and Funk
is heavily lacerated. Tommy Dreamer runs in and gives Raven a
DDT, and Funk rolls him up in a small package to become the new
ECW World Heavyweight Champion.
