    Hacksaw Jim Duggan was proud to be an American.  The Glenn's Falls, New York Native is known for bringing his 2x4 and an American Flag to the ring. 

    Jim Duggan started his career in the World Wrestling Federation, but he never won any championships.  He made his way to World Championship Wrestling the same time as Hulk Hogan.  While in WCW he won the US Championship and the TV Title.  During his time in WCW he suffered from cancer of the kidneys.  Fortunately, he triumphed over this, and he came back to wrestling, defending the TV Title on TV. 

    After his whole career being known for his love of America, he swerved all his fans by pledging allegiance to Canada along with Lance Storm and Elix Skipper to form Team Canada. The angle fizzled out and since WCW was bought by the WWF, he was left behind.

    He is now retired but wrestles on occasion, and those occasions are spectacular!
